25th Ecumenical Jury at the Berlinale 2016

Brussels, December 21st, 2015 (SIGNIS/INTERFILM). The Berlin International Film Festival, which will be held in February 2016, will welcome the 25th Ecumenical Jury.

The 66th edition of the Berlinale will be from February 11 to February 21, 2016. The Ecumenical Jury gives 3 prizes: one in the international competition, one in the Panorama selection and one in the Forum selection. These last two are rewarded with a 2.500 Euros cash prize.

Last year, the Ecumenical Prize was given to Patrico Guzman for El Botón de Nácar. In the Panorama section, Hal Hartley received the award for Ned Rifle , and in the Forum section, Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche for Histoire de Judas .

The members of this year’s jury are:

  • Micah Bucey, New York (USA)
  • Hans.-J. Neubauer, Berlin/Potsdam (Germany)
  • Aurore Renaut (France)
  • Callum Ryan (Australia)
  • Jacques Vercueil (France)
  • and Marisa Winter (Germany), as the president of the Jury.
