Thursday 30 June 2016, by SIGNIS

Manila, June 30th, 2016 (CBCP News). “Catholink” is a new service launched in the Philippines for people looking for information about the Catholic Church, its ministries and services in the country.

Catholink” is an information hub project of the Manila archdiocese-run Radio Veritas. It will “offer access to up-to-date, accurate and relevant information about the Church.”

Fr. Anton Pascual, Radio Veritas President, said “the project will help Catholics with all their queries about the Church ministries as well as requests for guidance and counseling through phone calls or online.”

He added that Catholink was also an avenue for different dioceses, parishes and Church organizations to serve more people with all the information they need.
“Through this program, we aim to serve more faithful and make the Catholic Church closer to them,” Pascual said.

The Catholic information hub was formally launched at the Merced Bakeshop and Restaurant in Quezon City on Friday, June 24.
