Faith Satellite Radio and SIGNIS Services Rome Begin a New Phase
Rome, July 1, 2009 (FSR/SIGNIS) - In June 2007, Faith Satellite Radio™ and SIGNIS collaborated in an effort to reduce the digital divide by providing faith organizations in Africa with a new and innovative way of broadcasting.
Now in 2009, Faith Satellite Radio and SIGNIS Services Rome have entered a new phase to expand services by beginning to offer data and multicasting services to developing countries around the world. FSR’s services will no longer be limited to Africa; but now will be able to include the unreachable parts of the world where a digital solution does not exist.
SIGNIS supports a great number of projects aimed at the development of Radio Broadcasting. For a lot of people in Africa, Latin America and Asia, radio is still the easiest and most direct means of communication available. SIGNIS is collaborating with several international organizations and supplies equipment and training, especially for Africa.
SIGNIS Services Rome (Palazzo San Calisto, Vatican City) ensures the study and the building of radio stations in Africa. It helps in feasibility financing, buying equipment, training, and instalments of studios, transmitters and aerials.
FSR now offers the proven solution of SSR services that has been exclusive for 50 years. FSR will offer e-learning applications, data solution and/or multi-casting to faith organizations and NGO’s around the world so they to can become connected.
Through this next phase, FSR and SSR hope to light up the world with the brightness of computer monitors and fill the air with the sound of the “Good News” for faith and development radio.
