The presence and activities of SIGNIS members in television and film lead to the publishing of reviews. This is a tradition that dates back to the beginnings of OCIC and Unda, when they realised that the best way of influencing the cinema-goers to appreciate films with values was to educate the public.
In Canada, The United States, France, the Philippines, Germany, Belgium, Spain and throughout the world, members of SIGNIS are publishing reviews in film magazines or websites. You can find in this column a non-exhaustive list of these websites.
Former SIGNIS President Peter Malone, a renowned film critic from Australia, regularly posts reviews of the most important films on the SIGNIS website.
While the reviews are posted for readers in many countries, the films have usually been seen in London, which requires an embargo for any use in the UK until the week of release.
