Video for Pope’s prayer intentions for July

Rome, July, 25th, 2016 (Zenit). The video illustrating the Pope’s prayer intentions for July has been released. The Pope’s universal intention for July is “that indigenous peoples, whose identity and very existence are threatened, will be shown due respect.”

Below is the full text of the Pope’s Video is below (transcription courtesy of Vatican Radio): Representative of Indigenous People: “Speaking for indigenous peoples, I ask that our ways of life may be respected, our rights and our traditions. Will you listen to me?”Pope Francis: “I want to be a spokesman for the deepest longings of indigenous peoples. And I want you to add your voice to mine in a heartfelt prayer that all will respect indigenous peoples, threatened in their identity and even in their existence.”
