"Blaga's Lessons" wins the Ecumenical Jury's prize at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2023
Brussels, July 1, 2019 (SIGNIS) Each year, SIGNIS publishes a supplement to our magazine, SIGNIS Media, containing the list of films that have received, during the previous year, a prize or a commendation given by international juries with SIGNIS members.
These juries are Catholic (SIGNIS juries), ecumenical (with Protestant members of INTERFILM), interreligious (with representatives of other religions invited by SIGNIS or INTERFILM), and interfaith (with representatives of other religions named by others, such as the festival management, for example).
And this year, for the first time, the Jerusalem Festival welcomed an Interfaith Jury. The list also includes the citation from the jury.
For more information on these awards and festivals, visit our website signis.net and issues of SIGNIS Media. They include articles and reviews on most films that have won awards or commendations from our international juries.
